Tasmac bars not adhering to plastic ban Inspite of the govt. ban on single-use plastic, most Tasmac bars in the neighbourhood are continuing to sell plastic tumblers along with the liquor bottles to its customers. The plastic tumblers are sold at Rs.10 each. A Corporation official told this reporter that strict instructions have been sent to all govt. departments including Tasmac outlets to enforce the plastic ban. He said that surprise inspections are being carried out and due action will be taken against the offenders. The T. Nagar - Mambalam edition of Mambalam Times can be accessed in flats. According to an official, 18 floors in the new building will be earmarked for residential flats. The lower four floors will have commercial establishments.
