A year back a storm water channel was laid on the road using large concrete blocks. Two such unused blocks, one on top of the other have been left behind very close to the front gate of my house. At times, our kids in a hurry to go out to play or catch the school bus, hit against these blocks and injure themselves. An ironing man close by is using the space within the block for storing clothes. It is also blocking the entire pavement width. If the concerned authorities get these blocks removed, it will be of great help to us. K. On Thambiah Road, near Ganapathy Street junction, a trench was dug long ago to undertake some repair work on a Metrowater pipeline running below. The trench is yet to be closed though the work has been completed /left unfinished long time ago.a Corporation bin has been placed in front of the trench to warn road users. It is causing hardship to Ganapathy Street residents who are finding it difficult to exit into Thambiah Road. It also adds to the traffic congestion, especially during the busy hours in the mornings and evenings.
