Cattle on Railway tracks pose a danger A cow was seen feeding on the grass growing along the railway tracks adjoining Chari Street (T. Nagar). They said that they have made a number of pleas to the concerned officials but no action has been taken so far to maintain the urinal. They further said that there are enough toilets in the terminus and this open urinal which has become an eyesore can be removed and make way for additional commuter space. Garbage enclosure misused as public toilet Students of Chennai Primary School, T. Nagar conducted a campaign against use of plastic bags for the vendors in Pondy Bazzar on Nov. 27. They distributed pamphlets carrying messages about the harmful effects of plastic based bags. V. P. Kalairajan (T. Nagar, MLA) who inaugurated the campaign told Mambalam Times that such awareness programs against use of plastic bags and covers is being initiated in the all the Corporation Divisions through school and college students, NGOs and social workers.
