DIRECTIONS Leaving Brodick pier, turn right through the village and take the B880 String Road towards Blackwaterfoot. After 10 miles, turn left on the A841, signposted for Kilmory and travel for approximately 5 miles where you turn right at the crossroads and continue down the track for approximately 500 metres where Shore House is on the left. GARDEN There is a large rear garden, part laid to lawn with a hedge of mature shrubs, bushes and trees and a substantial timber shed. A portion has been given over to wild flowers a haven for butterflies and bees in the summer months. There is a recently laid, extremely large patio area. The walls of the patio and the impressive barbeque are constructed from the stone of the original steading buildings. 4 DESCRIPTION It is difficult to convey just how special a situation this traditional detached stone cottage is in; it is a unique location with only one other dwelling adjacent. Shore House is accessed by a well maintained track and as you approach, the wonderful, unrestricted sea views are directly facing you. The cottage has an abundance of bespoke and interesting features making this a truly one-off original property. Timber flooring runs through the entire space and there is a beautiful stained-glass door leading to the conservatory. The conservatory has a tiled floor and radiator for those cooler days. French doors open out on the deck area in the front garden, and from here the sea views are spectacular. A staircase from the lounge leads to the upper floor, the present owner has utilised under stair space as a small home office. The nearest primary school is at the neighbouring village of Kilmory and the secondary school is situated in Lamlash, to which pupils are conveyed daily.
