14 CONTRACTOR - JTL DESIGN & BUILD LTD The Development Company will enter into a JCT construction contract for the refurbishment works with JTL Design & Build Ltd. JTL Design and Build are residential and commercial design and refurbishment specialists, managing predominantly high-end projects throughout London and having completed projects in Mayfair, Belgravia, St James and Kensington and Chelsea. JTL employ a team of in-house craftsmen and tradesmen and as such are able to effect complex remodelling projects with a focus on quality and value. In order to safeguard the Development Company against an increase in the construction costs from matters outside of their control, a JCT Standard Form of Contract, with contractor design will be used to procure the works. The Development Company will appoint an Employers Agent to act on its behalf. The agent will advise whether the building contract is fair and reasonable and ensure that all matters relating to the administration of the building contract are dealt with in the correct manner.
