Either side of the hallway are the panelled sitting room with an attractive fireplace, and the drawing room, again with an attractive marble fireplace and French doors into the conservatory. To the rear is a further hallway with doors out to the garden and another half glazed door to the conservatory which has a tiled floor and French doors out to the garden. The dining room leads off the back hall which in turn leads to a modern fitted kitchen. On the first floor are two elegant bedrooms that mirror the reception rooms below with high ceilings, a wonderful indulgent Victorian style boudoir bathroom and a separate cloakroom. On the second floor are two bedrooms in the loft space and an eaves storage cupboard. The rear is the absolute picture of an English country cottage with mature trees, private lawn and the extremely useful 20 th Century addition of parking. LOCATION Tetsworth is an attractive village close to glorious open countryside yet with easy access to the larger centres of Thame and Oxford. Haddenham and Thame Parkway rail station gives a fast rail service to London Marylebone of just 45 minutes and there is easy access to the M40 motorway to either London or Birmingham at the Wheatley or Lewknor intersections (junction 8a and 6) which are both close by. Tetsworth s appeal is obvious, with its traditional style village homes, centred around a large village green with a number of local amenities and activities on offer. Overlooking the village green is the Red Lion Public House which also offers the community a well-stocked shop for day-to-day essentials along with the stately 17 th Century Swan Inn and the ancient Saxon Church which has been rebuilt over the centuries. The village has a county primary and preschool, with senior schooling facilities in Thame and Watlington or highly regarded independent schools in neighbouring villages as well as Oxford and High Wycombe. There is an impressive newly refurbished village hall that puts on a number of events throughout the year. The village sports and social club run well subscribed football and cricket teams and the world class golf course, The Oxfordshire is close by. DIRECTIONS Leave Oxford on the A40 towards London and take the Thame exit (A418). Continue over the first roundabout and turn right at the second towards Thame and then take the first right hand turn towards Milton Common on the A40. At the junction turn left and then immediately right continuing on the A40 towards Tetsworth.
