The principle south facing elevation displays two projecting gabled wings with mullioned windows a central embattled porch. As well as the high ceilings and detailed cornices there is also an elegant marble fireplace. The position offers wonderful views over some of Leicestershire's finest rolling countryside. Hallaton is a truly picturesque village located within the very popular Welland Valley. This is a thriving village with two public houses as well as a tea room and village hall. There are recreational facilities in the village including a sports ground, rugby pitch and tennis courts. On entering Church Langton turn right onto Stonton Road and then right again onto Cranoe Road. Continue on Cranoe road travelling through Cranoe and passing the turning for Glooston and Slawston. The Old Rectory is the first house on the left-hand side on entering the village next to the church.
