4 LOCATION Mukima Ridge is approximately 8 km from Nanyuki town and 200 km from Nairobi. As well as by road, it can also be accessed by air with 45 minute chartered flights coming in daily from Nairobi s Wilson Airport. Set at 2,000m above sea level (ASL) within the Mount Kenya region Nanyuki s climate is warm and temperate with low humidity and crisp air. Temperatures in the warmest months (February to March) can reach highs of 30 C and lows of 8 C in the coolest months (August to September). It enjoys good rainfall and as such it is also home to commercial large scale farming notably floriculture and horticulture. The property benefits from its proximity to the lively town of Nanyuki which has a multi-cultural population in excess of 94,000 and offers a broad range of services and amenities. The original section features a drawing room/lounge with a large French stone fireplace; this opens onto an exquisite covered veranda through French patio doors. Through the lounge is the dining room which similarly opens onto the veranda which is the perfect place to unwind with sundowners catching the suns lingering rays, looking out over the sprawling gardens with Mount Kenya in the background.
