2 Greenacres is a highly unusual 5 bedroom detached village house situated on the fringe of Tarrant Keyneston, on a slightly elevated site with some open views over the surrounding countryside. The original house had a timber-framed extension to the south side around 1905, and this was re-built by the present owner in In 2003, Greenacres was extended further to include a superb swimming pool complex which is an outstanding feature. The original part of the house is of cob and chalk construction and the more recent extensions are of traditional cavity brick and blockwork, all under a natural slate and small plain tiled roof. A 6-pane glazed door leads to the kitchen/breakfast room with has traditional framed Trademark units, quality cream resin work surfaces and a range of built-in appliances including ceramic touch-control hob, fan oven, extractor, and dishwasher. A feature brick recess houses an oil fired Aga on a brick plinth, and there are exposed ceiling timbers and a quarry tiled floor. A walkway leads to a large utility room with hot water cylinder and space for freezers. Off the reception hall there is a large ground floor bedroom with glass screens and door to a large sun deck.

5 This has a superb en suite facility including a bath and a large double shower. On the opposite side of the hall, a door leads to an inner hall (with stone floor,) off of which there is a cloakroom and a laundry room. A second staircase leads to a large bedroom and en suite shower room. From the sitting room, the main staircase leads to a long L-shaped landing. The superb master bedroom has an en suite dressing room, a bath/shower room, and double doors to a balcony with a balustrade and a superb view of the gardens and farmland beyond. DIRECTIONS: From Wimborne, proceed towards Blandford on the B3082, through the avenue of beech trees at Badbury Rings, and down the hill into Tarrant Keyneston, passing the True Lover's Knot Inn on the right hand side. Continue up the hill and, as you reach the brow of the hill, turn left into the driveway of Greenacres. A raised lawn and close boarded fencing flank the driveway. The formal gardens extend to about half an acre and are enclosed by close boarded fencing, beech hedges, blue cedar and other established trees. There is a large entertaining terrace and barbecue area with space for a hot tub. There is second raised well (with enclosed canopy.) Large boiler room housing the auto feed biomass heating unit, with a secure roller door. There is access to mezzanine storage above. Enclosed stable yard.
