3 Situation Gowanbank lies almost equidistant to Edinburgh & Glasgow situated 27 miles west of the Capital if travelling via the M8 public road and 25 miles east of Glasgow via the M80. To the north, the Kincardine Bridge is just 15 miles via the M9, giving easy access to Fife and Perthshire. Gowanbank is well served by the major central belt road network. Local amenities, including Post Office, are found just over a mile away at Avonbridge. This property lies within the catchment for the excellent Linlithgow Academy. There is a bus from Westfield to Linlithgow which is a small village near Gowanbank. It leaves the post office at 8pm every school day and goes to Linlithgow Academy. N Directions From junction 4 of the M8 Edinburgh Glasgow road (just south west of Bathgate) head north on the A801. Proceed straight on at the roundabout.
