7 Situation Kearsney lies between the villages of River and Temple Ewell within Dover Town. At the head of the Alkham Valley leading though the country side to the M20 and Folkestone to the West and to the A2 and then on to M2 from the East, this could not be in a better position for the possible uses described earlier. The busiest passenger port in the world is only 3 miles away at Dover, the high speed rail link from Dover Priory giving access to London St Pancras in 69 minutes and of course the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone only about 15 minutes drive away conspire to make this a heaven sent opportunity. The new shopping centre in Dover Town, the White Cliffs, the amazing walks across the cliffs with far reaching views to the cliffs and beaches of Calais and Boulogne and all looked down upon by our ancient and world renowned Dover Castle. There are two primary schools within walking distance, local shops and pubs and not forgetting the bus service and train station which is just behind the site allowing a three minute journey to Dover or 20 minutes to the Cathedral city of Canterbury.
