1 This family sized super-pod with optional bathroom is the mid size version of our new 4m wide pods for the Hotel and Glamping market. It is aesthetically pleasing and has space for all the luxury items needed for an extra accommodation room. A large side entrance door sets off the whole experience. This 7.2m model has the option of a full bathroom and / or kitchenette; with 28sq m of space it takes careful planning to optimise everything. Space for a double bed (or larger) with storage facilities; space for sofa and table & chairs for relaxing means this pod is suitable for fitting like a chic hotel room with structural character in the building. The option to add the separate bathroom area and a kitchenette make it a long term apartment if necessary. Our super size pods are built with quality, longevity and a chic living experience in mind! 3 Specification This factory built unit is delivered to site in 3 modules to be joined during siting. It is factory assembled from professionally produced Glulam structures with all timber being PEFC certified and CE-KD graded timber. The structure contains diffusion membrane and insulation whilst externally the fascia walls are clad in Siberian Larch the internal wall coverings are completed with seasoned pine panelling. Doors & Windows All windows and doors are high class residential quality, double glazed with Velux vents, CE certified with toughened glass. Non Velux windows contain multi-point locking systems for security and comfort. This unit uses Velux windows in a number of areas allowing standard Velux blinds to be fitted. We recommend to apply diffusion covering on the clear glass in the bathroom. Walls & Roof External fascia cladding is grade A Siberian Larch, whilst the roof is the long life and attractive Britmet granulated steel panels with 40 year warranty. Internally the roof shows the structural arches which appear as a feature vaulted ceiling. Insulation The unit is fully insulated across the floor (100mm Knauf), walls and roof (50mm Knauf) with an added layer of TLX Silver foil backed insulation on all wall and roof areas. Electrics Electric sockets, switches etc are not supplied or fitted. The unit is pre-wired to allow easy completion by a certified electrician to accommodate your selected appliances, fixtures and fittings once delivered to site. We will work with you to define your electrical requirements. Bathroom - Option The bathroom can be supplied with vanity basin, toilet and full shower cubicle or pre-plumbed as required. A 900mm quadrant shower cabin complete with control valve. The unit is delivered such that plumbing can be quickly completed once the unit is delivered to site. Water heater will need to be sized to fit. Kitchenette Option A functional kitchenette unit with sink, 2 ring hob, drawers and cupboards allow the accommodation to take on self sufficiency. A fridge and microwave can be included. This model can accommodate a larger kitchen unit. A water heater will be sized to fit. Alarms We supply 2 in 1 Kidde combined CO2 and Fire alarms to be fitted on arrival. The alarm is activated by lithium battery with 10 year life expectancy. Extendable This 3(three) module unit is 7.2m x 4m and the side entrance allows access to the bedroom, dining and kitchen area. It can be fitted with kitchenette and bathroom equipment or ready for you to fit once it arrives on site.
