4 OUR ROOTS IT BEGAN IN THE SIXTIES Rod Slifer, ski instructor/realtor, starts his one-man operation out of the lobby of the Lodge at Vail, selling properties for Vail Associates Real Estate Rod Slifer opens his own brokerage, Slifer & Company, on Bridge Street.
