4 Situation Burrow Farm is situated on the Devon / Somerset border, one mile west of the quiet village of Ashbrittle. The village of Appley is 2.5 miles to the east and has a primary school, village store / post office and The Globe Inn, a popular public house. Burrow Farm Cottage occupies a sheltered position, surrounded by its own gardens. It is constructed of stone, brick and part rendered elevations underneath a slate roof. This cottage has been improved during recent years and the accommodation includes a kitchen with fitted units (NB the Rangemaster cooker is not included), a living / dining room with a wood-burner, a sitting room with a brick fireplace housing a wood-burner with a slate hearth.
