Final Subdivision Map of Horizon Pointe Division 6A None. PROR REVEW: Preliminary Subdivision approval given by the City Council on March 23, 26 BACKGROUND: On March 23, 26, the City Council approved the preliminary subdivision of Horizon Pointe Division 7. (The subdivision has since been renumbered to Division 6 in order to avoid a gap in the residential division numbering. The original Village Center master plan identified the now school and commercial parcels as Division 6.) The project was approved for 69 single family lots on an approximately 1.34 acres of land zoned Village Center. The project is located at the southwest corner of 66 th Avenue SE and Ruddell Road. Division 6A is comprised of 38 lots. The remaining 31 lots will receive final approval at a later date. All Public Works and Planning improvements are in place or financial securities are in place for their installation. Appropriate agencies and departments have reviewed the request. The appropriate signatures have been obtained and it is now ready for the Mayor s signature. The applicant requests that the City Council authorize the Mayor to sign the final subdivision map for Horizon Pointe 6A. This will allow the applicant to proceed with the development of the subdivision. Page 1 of 2

3 ADVANTAGES: 1. Signing the final subdivision map would allow the applicant to proceed with the development of the subdivision and the sale of lots. The final subdivision application meets the requirements of preliminary approval, is consistent with the City Comprehensive Plan, the City Zoning Code, and all applicable City regulations. DSADVANTAGES: 1. Staff has not identified any disadvantages of approving this subdivision. Page 2 of 2
