The lean-to is open on three sides under one roof. The shop has a 17 tall by 20 wide sliding door in the north end. It has a full concrete floor, is fully insulated, and lined with painted metal. The clear-wall height is 17. Shop Building There are seven grain bins on the farm with a total capacity of approximately 160,000 bushels. These are all 36 diameter bins, seven rings tall, with a total capacity of about 23,000 bushel peaked. There are five Brock bins and two Butler bins. They all have 8 to 10 unloading augers with 7-1/2 horsepower electric motors. There are three Brock bins that have 42 x 50 centrifugal fans with 10 horsepower motors. The other three bins have 30 centrifugal fans and are older bins with new floors and fans. The bins are basically all identical, all in nearly new condition, and offering good utility to the farm. 23,000 Bushel Grain Bins The west machine shed is a pole building on full concrete foundation and floor. It is 60 x 105 x 12. This is an older building that was completely renovated in 2004 with all new metal siding and roof. There is a 12 x 20 door in the east end. The interior is lined with plywood and can be used for grain storage. On the north side is a 24 x 90 lean-to, pole frame, and metal clad with five horse stalls in it. The west open-front shed is a 36 x 108 x 17 pole building on concrete foundation and it has a full concrete floor. This was built on the foundation of an old Quonset building. The shed is all open, clear-span, with painted metal sides and roof. The north end is open with over 17 of clearance. This offers excellent utility to the farm.
