There s also intense competition to entertain you, from The Abbey Theatre s drama programme to The Alban Arena s rock and pop concerts, comedy acts and films, with plays and music also on offer at the Maltings Art Theatre. Visit Harpenden s Public Halls, a few miles away, for even more choices and for multi-screen cinemas head to Hemel Hempstead, Watford or Hatfield. Diary dates worth making include an annual Food & Drink Festival, CAMRA Beer Festival, Music in the Park events, and Christmas markets.
