PUBLIC COMMENTS: Kellam de Forest asked if there would be story poles for the Miramar. Sam Maphis stated that a site visit with story poles would take place before the Miramar project goes to the Montecito Planning Commission. The minutes of August 25, 2014 will be amended to reflect this change. II. AGENDA STATUS REPORT: C-1. 14BAR Argyropoulos Garage, Cabana and Storage Schoolhouse Road was added to the agenda. #4. 14BAR Sutter Living Trust Addition Demo, Remodel and New Pool Cabana 655 Para Grande Lane was continued to the November 3, 2014 MBAR meeting at the request of the applicant. #12. 14BAR Westmont Verizon Communications Wireless Facility- 955 La Paz Road

STAFF UPDATE: Nicole Lieu and Alex Tuttle are substituting for Zoraida Abresch CONSENT AGENDA: C-1. 14BAR Argyropoulos Garage, Cabana and Storage 1321 Schoolhouse Road 14LUP (Tammy Weber, Planner ) Ridgeline: N/A Request of Tom Smith, architect for the owner, Demetri Argyropoulos, to consider Case No. 14BAR for final approval on consent of a new approximately 561 square foot pool cabana, remodel of the existing 572 square foot garage (re-orientation of the doors), new 6 high x 60 length privacy wall & new trellis. The following structures currently exist on the parcel: a two story single family dwelling of approximately 4,063 square feet, a detached garage of approximately 525 square feet (to be converted into new cabana), and a detached guest house of approximately 210 square feet. The proposed project will not require cut and approximately 50 cubic yards of fill. Project is inconsistent with design guidelines 6. Contemporary style may work, but not as currently designed; though one MBAR member is against contemporary style in any design in this neighborhood.
