PUBLIC COMMENTS: None II. AGENDA STATUS REPORT: III. MINUTES: The Minutes of November 3, 2014 will be -considered abstained) to: approve the November 3, 2014 minutes as amended. IV. MBAR MEMBERS INFORMATIONAL BRIEFINGS: Dorinne Lee Johnson attended the LUC meeting on Nov. 4th, re: Miramar presentation. Caruso Affiliates announced their story poles will be installed by December, 1st through the 15th. Suggestion: It may be a good time to have a site visit on Dec. 1, before our regular meeting. MPC will have a special hearing on the Miramar on Monday Dec. 15th, at 9 am.

2 Page 2 Ms. Johnson also attended the Montecito Association meeting on Nov. 11th, re: the County 101 schematic drawings on the two roundabouts on the San Ysidro Roadd bridge and how it would impact the Miramar by taking part of their property away where the parking is located and it would impact our semi-rural community. Claire Gottsdanker also attended reported that the county was looking at a possible interchange at San Ysidro Road and did a presentation on the possibilites. The Miramar group was very clear that this would not work for them. Ms. Gottsdanker reported that none of the proposals were well received. Zoraida Abresch offered to coordinate a presentation from Santa Barbara County Public Works to the MBAR member s regarding this. V. STAFF UPDATE: None CONSENT AGENDA: C-1. 14BAR Richards Trust Additions & Detached Garage 665 San Ysidro Lane 14LUP (Kimberley McCarthy, Planner ) Ridgeline: N/A Request of Peter Becker, architect for the owner, Kim Richards, to consider Case No. 14BAR for final approval on consent of the conversion of the existing attached garage of approximately 500 into habitable space, construction of a new attached garage of approximately 498 square feet, construction of a new detached garage approximately 232 square feet, an enclosure of the existing roofed balcony adding approximately 238 square feet to the existing pool cabana, reconfiguration and extension of the entry porch, motor court and the construction of a detached trellis/pergola. The following structures currently exist on the parcel: a single family dwelling of approximately 4,082 square feet, an attached garage of approximately 500 square feet and an attached cabana of approximately 412 square feet. The proposed project will not require any cut and approximately 20 cubic yards of fill. The property is a 1.00 acre parcel zoned 2-E-1 and shown as Assessor s Parcel Number , located at 665 San Ysidro Lane in the Montecito area, First Supervisorial District.(Continued from 2/10/14, 7/14/14, 10/20/14) absent) to: grant final approval on consent to 14BAR C-2. 14BAR Kuyt/Devor Addition 275 Butterfly Lane 14LUP (Tammy Weber Planner ) Ridgeline: N/A Request of Alex Pujo, architect for the owners, Fred Kuyt & Melissa Devor, to consider Case No. 14BAR for final approval on consent of a two-story residential addition of approximately 1,557 square feet and new porches and balconies of approximately 250 square feet. The following structures currently exist on the parcel: a single family dwelling of approximately 1,942, a detached garage of approximately a second story study (above the garage) of approximately 395 square feet. The proposed project will require approximately 30 cubic yards of cut and no grading. The property is a.53 acre foot parcel zoned 2-E-1 and shown as Assessor s Parcel Number , located at 275 Butterfly Lane in the Montecito area, First Supervisorial District. The following structures currently exist on the parcel: a single family residence of approximately 3,022 square feet and an attached garage of approximately 739 square feet. The proposed project will require approximately 400 cubic yards of cut and no fill. The property is a.91 acre parcel zoned 2-E-1 and shown as Assessor s Parcel Number , located at 572 Stone Meadow Lane in the Montecito area, First Supervisorial District. CONCEPTUAL REVIEW Bennett/Blake 2. 14BAR Second Story Addition & Demo Remodel 723 Via Manana 14LUP (Kimberley McCarthy, Planner ) Ridgeline: N/A Request of Brian Miller, agent for the owners, Mark Bennett & Paul Blake, to consider Case No. 14BAR for further conceptual/preliminary approval of the demolition of the detached guest room approximately 295 square feet, the addition of approximately 453 square feet to the dwelling and construction of a new second story element of approximately 577 square feet. The following structures currently exist on the parcel: a one story single family dwelling of approximately 2,421 square feet (net) an attached garage of approximately 835 square feet (net) and the guest room of

The following structures currently exist on the parcel: single family residence of approximately 3,348 square feet with attached garage of approximately 425 square feet, a basement of approximately 223 square feet and a pool & cabana of approximately 424 square feet. The proposed project will not require grading. The property is a.89 acre parcel zoned 2.E.1 and shown as Assessor s Parcel Number , located at 801 Hot Springs Road in the Montecito area, First Supervisorial District. The following structures currently exist on the parcel: a single family dwelling of approximately 1,818 square feet and a garage of approximately 549 square feet. The proposed project will require approximately 370 cubic yards of cut and no fill. The property is a 1.02 acre parcel zoned 2-E-1
