Public Hour - Hearing of Citizens Submittal for 30 Hartswick Avenue B. 30 Hartswick Avenue A building permit was received for a construction project at 30 Hartswick Avenue on September 7, 08. The application was received before the (HARB) enactment date of October, 08. Therefore, the application is being reviewed under the zoning requirements pertaining to the former Historic Resources Commission (HRC). Council is in the process of transferring the responsibilities of the former HRC to the newly created HARB through a pending ordinance to revise the Borough s zoning code. 30 Hartswick Avenue is a corner lot in the R- Zoning District of College Heights. The house is a contributing structure in the College Heights Historic District. The property has two front yards, one on Hartswick Avenue, and one on Holmes Street. The property owners, Julie and Mike McHugh, plan to

Architect Brennan Glantz will be present to provide project information. The applicants have met all requirements for a Design Review Board (DRB) review: public notice, property posting, and electronic submission of photographs, site plan, elevation drawings, and floor plan drawings. NOTE: This review is ADVISORY only and must follow the procedures, and guidelines for an HRC review as required by the zoning ordinance. VIII. An application has been made for a Zoning Permit with the Borough of State College for the purposes of constructing an addition to the home. Proposed is a two-story addition to the rear of the home, approximately 4 x 5 in footprint. The property is owned by Julie & Mike McHugh, currently residing at 4 Paesons Lane, Lower Gwynedd, PA 900.
