The Crook County / Deschutes County line runs east and west through the property, with deeded and BLM in both counties. PROPERTY: 12,236 deeded acres, 6,780 acres of BLM, 716 acres of State Land, and 318 acres of private lease all in one block. This is for the most part, native range. There is an abundance of Idaho Fescue grass, which is fine stemmed and a very good cow feed. There are some areas that have been farmed and planted to rye or triticale and were pastured. This property is completely perimeter fenced and cross-fenced into 11 different pastures. Owner has drilled seven new wells to give a total of 12 wells on the property. Four of the wells have electricity to them and one is set up with solar power. The rest are run with a generator which is moved from well to well as needed. Current owner has put in a total so far of 120,000 gallons of stock water storage tanks, and about 20 miles of pipeline to stock tanks. He has installed multiple 3000 gallon metal stock troughs. The owner has also had about 4,000 acres of junipers cut, which benefits cattle grazing. There are some corrals at this location, but they are not really good livestock working facilities. The owner has built a new set of corrals about in the middle of the property, at what is called Green Well. There is good access for stock trucks and good working and sorting facilities.
