2 Welcome to Shelter Rock The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock opens its doors to you! As an organization committed to supporting the community, the use of our premises is offered year-round to nonprofit organizations that share our values and whose work aligns with our principles. We can accommodate groups of various sizes (up to 200 in our Social Hall) to suit your meeting or event. We have multiple rooms located both in our Historic Veatch House Mansion and our Primary Building. Part of Shelter Rock s mission is to share its resources for the benefit of our community partners. You will find our fees very reasonable as we understand financial restrains of non-profits. We are excited at the chance to host your organization, so contact us to get started! A Closer Look Our property spans 100 acres of lush greenery. Many of our rooms are accented with a backdrop of beautiful rolling hills and treescape. We are conveniently adjacent to two major thoroughfares; the Long Island Expressway and the Northern State Parkway and are minutes away from the Manhasset Long Island Railroad Station. Our facility features ample parking and is handicapped accessible.

6 Veatch House Testimonials Manhasset High School has used the UUCSR facility for over ten years for a variety of functions. One of our biggest is the annual two week administration of Advanced Placement examinations. The facility in magnificent: quiet, comfortable, and relaxed. The staff accommodates the many needs and requirements for this important testing experience for our students. We value our relationship with this obliging organization and its hard working, supportive staff. - Manhasset High School The entire staff at UUCSR has responded to every request we have made in the most gracious and caring way. The room we have been assigned has been perfect for our meetings, the custodial staff has bent over backwards to make sure our needs are met, and the administrative staff has been responsive to our every need. We could not be more pleased with our decision to move our meetings to your facility. - Nar-Anon I would like to extend my deepest appreciation to you and your staff for the use of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock every year for our Annual Board Meeting. The Worship Room and Art Gallery are ideal locations for our meeting and post event reception. Left at light. OR From the east, Exit 36 Searingtown Road. Follow service road to Shelter Rock Road at second light. Right on Shelter Rock Road. Stay North on Shelter Rock Road 1.3 miles. Entrance is on the left. White gates mark the driveway. Continue up driveway to parking lot at top of hill. Main entrance is off this parking lot. FROM THE NORTHERN STATE PARKWAY: Exit 27 Shelter Rock Road. Stay North on Shelter Rock Road 1.3 miles. Entrance is on the left. FROM NORTHERN BOULEVARD: South on Shelter Rock Road from Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) approximately 1/2 mile. After second traffic light, watch for two driveways on the right side of road. Second driveway is for Shelter Rock. ENTRANCE BY LONG ISLAND RAILROAD: Frequent service to Manhasset station (closest) or Port Washington line.
