2 Vanbrugh Vanbrugh was opened in October 1967 and boasts a 200 capacity tiered lecture theatre, as well as a number of breakout rooms ranging from boardrooms for 16 to theatre style rooms for 62. This makes it an ideal conference venue with plenary and workshop spaces, all complemented by award winning catering and fantastic audio-visual opportunities.

4 Law and Management The Law and Management building is set in the heart of the modern Campus East. The large theatre can accommodate up to 244 delegates and a circular lecture theatre allows for presentations in the round for 205. All rooms have high quality equipment including projectors and PCs. 6 Alcuin Alcuin College provides 8 rooms ranging in capacity from 12 to 100 in a modern, functional setting. Alcuin College accommodation is within walking distance from the teaching rooms, making this venue ideal for summer schools. The accommodation and classrooms are built around outdoor landscaped seating areas which create a self-contained space allowing visitors to socialise and relax between sessions.

8 Derwent Derwent College is the ideal venue for day meetings and conferences with up to 320 delegates. Derwent s lecture theatre is a flexible space which can transform from tiered seating to a large flat floored space, perfect for exhibitions or a cabaret style event. There is also a variety of breakout spaces, including plenary rooms, boardrooms and excellent catering facilities.
