3 THE HOUSE Why We Are Building Down? The Lift and Stairs to the downstairs of the dwelling. 4 ELEMENTS What Elements we will use: Paper Insulation - Recycled Building Blocks - Green Roof - Tire Retaining wall Paper insulation - The reason why we are using this type of insulation as it offers many benefits,for example it is recycled so it is sustainable. It protects the dwellings from the hot and cold as a good insulation. Good for fire safety and reduces the risk of fire spreading. Recycled Building Blocks - The recycled building is a good type of insulation and is such a positive impact on the environment. It becomes carbon neutral and in some cases being very cheap to manufacture. Green Roof - The Green Roof is sustainable And adds an amount of green space each home has. 6 ENERGY Solar Tree Geothermal Heating and Cooling Bi-solar PASSIVE HOUSE The bottom half of the building that is in the ground provides insulation that keeps a steady temperature of at an average of 16 Degrees. Although having a passive house improves the heat kept in the building with the insulation. Other ways of keeping the house warm and lowering energy would be: Sedum Roofing Mirror natural lighting We want to have as much natural lighting as we can as of the fact that doing that we can light up the entire of the garage without using much of the liths. We done this by have the mirror at the bottom of the light well so that it reflects the light around the room and not on to the car so that it stays cool during the day. Super insulation Air Tight Double Glazing Geothermal Heating and Cooling Sedum Roof Underground insulation Orientation of the Building We can use the passive house in our design. It would be a feature that would keep the expenses down of the energy spending and would also keep the comfort for the client. We are using a passive house design because we know that keeping the comfort of the user. Knowing that the environment is carefully looked after.
