2 META DATA DATA: Location: Emil Møllers Gade 41 Horsens The expenses of the estate through their Rental payments. The laws stipulate that in non-profit housing no one is allowed to make a profit from the rental. The rent has to be fixed so that it covers the expenses connected with the running of the estate. The maximum apartment size for the government subsidised apartments (115 m 2 ) is a combination of gross m 2 -area for the actual apartment and the needed access area. Cost per m2: Gross m 2 -area x Kr.= Maximum price (included VAT) Apartment 1 Apartment 2 Apartment 3 Apartment m2 / DKK 89.3m2 / DKK 68.7m2 / DKK 89.3m2 / DKK Flexibility: The flat arrangement could be simply incorporate with light construction walls to separate kitchen area or create small working zone. Sustainability: This building has no sustainable solutions. However to increase sustainability, could be several options. Firstly, to build house with solar panels constructed on the roof, to supply hot water to the tenants. Secondary, to build wall with cellulose insulation. Third, would be to collect rain water and reuse it for different purpose. Situated only 7 min walk from train station. Building construction: This building complex is constructed by typical Danish construction standards such as: main constructions are made from prefabricated elements, and surface finish with red brick, to keep the coherent look of the neighbourhood. Type of building: Non-profit housing (multistorey building) is housing for everyone. All those who live in the same estate pay Flat types: This building provides four different types of the apartments, which total size do not exceed 115m2. Flats are designed with open plan kitchen/living room.

With some nature and lovely yard where you can enjoy your coffee and let your children play. Small walking paths made out of stone to your home (good access). Good choice and it is very common in these days to have it like this. Not much space, only two rooms. But in this apartment they have everything they need (Kitchen, bathroom and great relax area). Good orientation of the installation shaft. BAD POINTS: Bad sun orientation. Not much space for storage. Not sure about washing machine. No more space in bathroom and kitchen is small to have a washing machine.

Each apartment has balcony. 2. Two bedrooms in each apartment except one. 3. Has good entrance to main hall way. 4. Two apartment are exactly the same 5. Balcony can be used as escape route. 6. Each apartment has one toilet. 7. In all apartments same choice to have open living room, dining room and kitchen.
7 BUILDING SYSTEM DATA: Typical Danish buildings are constructed with Load-bearing parts made from prefabricated concrete elements (easy and fast solution) Building modern look is created with a flat roof construction created using prefabricated concrete slabs and insulation and finish cover with bituminous. The demand for roof construction is the U -value 0.10 W/m²K. Inner leaf made of concrete (prefabricated) Wall standard dimensions thickness: 120, 150, 180, 200, 250 and 300 mm. Other thicknesses are executed to order. Width The module is standard 2400 mm, 3000 mm, 3600 mm and 4200 mm, otherwise dividable by 600 mm. Internal walls made out of concrete(prefabricated) Floor construction is combined with the self-levelling concrete screed and sound insulation to create private apartments. Hollow core elements (prefabricated) TYPES LENGTH TOLERANCES EX EX EX EX EX Length below 7.2 meters ± 12 mm. Length between 7.2 and ± 20 mm. Length over 14.4 meters ± 30 mm. Element lengths below 1.5m are not executed. Façade is finished with red bricks. The cavity is filled with an insulation. In purpose to fulfil the demand of U -value 0.15 W/m²K. Ground floor slab is constructed with deck elements and it should fulfil the demand of U-VALUES 0.10 W/m²K. Building is constructed on the pillar foundation. 10 BATHROOM DATA: JAVIER GUTIERREZ SAINZ The typical Danish bathroom has a small sink with mirror, a shower, a toilet and the washing machine. There are three different kinds of bathrooms in each floor of the building, but only one of them with natural light. Bathrooms are adapted for disable people The doors open inwards and the window outwards to be easily opened in case of an emergency. Swithes must be located in dry places. Lights should be controlled by a manual control sensor switch. Ventilation system (inlet ) Ventilation system (outlet) -Extractor -Bath extractor Floors consists on: -100mm hot wear layer. -50mm insulation. -Wetroom membrane. 200mm floor slabs. Ceiling consists on: -Two layers of 13mm. -Gypsum between the layers. -Ventilation hiden Space is not big enough for all the activities (laundry, shower, toilet). All the bathrooms must have extrators for ventilation. 13 STAIRCASE DATA: JAVIER GUTIERREZ SAINZ The staircase consist on an space of the building which has a lift and the stairs. Danish stairs use to be prefabricated. The materials must be not-slippery to avoid accidents. 1,5m The recommended measures for tread and riser according to BR10 are: -Tread: 280mm. -Riser: 180mm. There must be a space between the stairs and the walls so that the noise can not be transmitted. The railings must have at least 100mm high according to BR10. There must be a space of 1,5m of circle radius in front of the lift. 2100mm Space between satair and wall This building doesn t need a evacuation stairway because the distance between the farthest room and the staircase is less than 25m. Railing There must be fire doors to prevent the spread of fire. Tread: 280mm 100mm The high between floors must be at least 2100mm (BR10). Riser: 180mm
14 ROOF DATA: EDGAR MORA AND JAVIER GUTIERREZ The roof of our building is flat and it is not transitable. This roof has a breastplate made with the brick that continui of the facade. The roof of the balconies is diferent of the roof of the building. The roof of the building is composed by: Roofing felt of 20 mm Plastic foam of 50 mm Insulation of 400 mm Roofing felt of vapor barrier of 20 mm Alveolar slab of 300 mm The energy demand of the roof according to the BR10 is 0.10 W/k m2 Proposals: We can put a green roof because these roofs in summer keep the house cold and in winter keep the house hot. It is a very good material for isoled the outside. We can change the insulation or/and increase the thickness. For example, cellulose insulation.
15 SUSTAINABILITY DATA: EDGAR MORA The orientation of the build is good for 2 apartments, the apartment 1 and the apartment 4, because the facade south is the best facade for gain the maximum sun. The architect put a lot of windows in this facade to give more light in the living room. The others apartments don t have a facade in the south. There are a lot of green zones in the surroundings of the building. Proposals We can to put the solar panels and the solars cells to store the energy gained during the day for save energy and heating the water. We can to change the actual insulation by cellulose insulation because is it the best insulation material sustainable. To put the to reuse the water of the rains and save the water.
