4 Our New Website To Review Core Team looked at over 100 sites Wanted a page that was sleek, easy to navigate and promotes the city Worked with CivicLive designers to create a page that represented Renton Ability to use microsites Followed established best practices for website design AGENDA ITEM #1. a)

5 Staff Involvement Division Meetings A Core Group of 4 6 meets weekly with our contractor Civic Live to address issues and keep the project on track Two kickoff meetings were held for city staff One hour meetings between city divisions and Civic Live were held between October and February Meetings allowed staff to give input into what they want on their pages and get ideas from Civic Live on options to present materials Councilmembers Pavone and Pearce attended AGENDA ITEM #1. a)

59 Process Land Use Permit Process September 2, 2015 project was placed on hold pending receipt of site plan that complied with the mitigation measures issued in the EIS mitigation document. February 3, 2016 off hold notice. Appeal and land use permits were scheduled to go to public hearing April 19, 2016 April 12, 2016 Staff Report to the Hearing Examiner was issued April 15, 2016 Applicant requested the Hearing be postponed by four weeks. April 19, 2016 Hearing Examiner opened the hearing for public comment only (one public comment received) and continued the date per the applicant s request to May 31, May 20, 2016 Applicant requested a second extension to the public hearing May 20, 2016 The Examiner granted the extension and canceled the public hearing May 23, 2016 Project was placed on hold as requested by the applicant with a resubmittal deadline of August 29, September 20, 2016 Applicant requested an extension of the hold for an additional 60 days. Which was granted to December 16, March 16, 2017 Project was taken off hold April 18, 2017 Tentative Hearing Examiner Public Hearing AGENDA ITEM #2. d)

60 Process Development Agreement Following the issuance of the Staff Report to the Hearing Examiner and the Extension of the Public Hearing (April 15, 2016) discussions began on a Development Agreement Multiple versions of the document have been reviewed by staff and the applicant to create the Draft, which identifies an Enhanced Alternative Enhancements = public benefit To date, the City and the Applicant have been working on this project for approximately 7 years. AGENDA ITEM #2. d)

61 Development Agreement Additional Provisions Following 5 years of the initial term, a SEPA Transportation Update would be required. New transportation mitigation for the project may be required based on changed conditions and associated project impacts. Vest the development regulations effective on the vesting date, which is February 10, 2010 for the term of the agreement.
