Scope of Work/Services: D. Tank Ownership the following : D. TANK OWNERSHIP The Successful Bidder, if other than the present contractors, shall be required to negotiate all details for the transfer of tanks and meters at all installations where they are owned by the present contractor without any cost or obligation to the. The Successful Bidder shall provide, at no cost to the, new tanks and all necessary piping regulators where needed. The existing propane in the present contractor s tanks, which is the property of the, shall be pumped into the new tanks. The tank owned by the shall remain in their respective state of ownership. All piping required to connect tanks to buildings that is currently in place shall remain the property of the. Before any contractor owned tanks are changed, the Successful Bidder shall contact the appropriate department director, or designated representative, for their approval. Service to the existing location shall be interrupted no more than one () hour maximum during the transfer and replacement. Shall be changed to read: D. The cooperative language in this IFB issued by Henrico is for the convenience of other public bodies, however; the Successful Bidder has the choice of whether to service them or not. The cannot make a comparison that would be the bidder s responsibility. Q2.Which tanks are owned by the and which ones are owned by the current supplier? A2. A4.The projected contract start date is March, 204. Q5.What is the annual usage on the FCC towers? A5. The typically only fills those tanks once a year (usually in late September or early October). They usually require approximately gallons per tower site. 7
