THIS WILL NOT AFFECT FUTURE BIDS, BUT IS A MEANS IN VERIFYING THAT YOU DID RECEIVE NOTIFICATION FOR THIS BID. Property is for commercial use only not residential purposes. Property to be sold as is with no warranty and subject to all zoning and restrictions currently existing. Property to be sold for a minimum price equal to appraised value. 3 3 The City of Hammond will be accepting sealed bids from the public on property listed below: Conditions of Sale: No one shall be permitted to bid on property to be sold by the City if they are delinquent in the payment of taxes or other municipal charges on any other property which such person shall own in the City. No sale shall be made to any person who owns other property in the City regarding which properties there exists violation of Property Maintenance Code of which violations have not been corrected at the time of the sale.

4 4 The sale shall be subject to: a) Such state of facts which an accurate survey may disclose; b) Easements and restrictions of records, if any; c) Tenancies, leasehold, and rights of persons in possession; d) All federal, state, parish and municipal laws, statues, code, ordinances, rules and regulations affecting the property, its use and occupation; e) Certificate of occupancy issued by the Building Department. The property described above, or any part thereof, are sold as is and without any representation or warranty, either expressed or implied, as to present condition and subject to all existing zoning and other restrictions. Purchaser is responsible for removal of the water tank on the property in accordance with all applicable city ordinances and codes within a reasonable time after closing, not to exceed sixty (60) days. The City will cap the water source to the tank. Bid Packages are mailed only as a courtesy. The City of Hammond does not assume responsibility for bidders to receive bid packages. Bidders should rely on advertisements in the local newspaper; City s website: or personally pick up bid packages with specifications at City of Hammond, LA., Purchasing Department. Full information may be obtained, or questions answered, by contacting the Purchasing Department, Hammond City Hall Complex, 310 East Charles Street or by calling (985) The method of delivery of bid(s) is the responsibility of the bidder. All bids shall be received by the Purchasing Department, Hammond City Hall Complex, 310 East Charles Street Hammond, Louisiana on or before the specified bid opening date and time. Late bids shall not be accepted under ANY circumstances. It is the bidder s sole responsibility to insure that their proposal has been delivered and accepted with ample time to meet all specified deadlines. Proposals shall be accepted only on the forms furnished by the City of Hammond Purchasing Department. The City of Hammond shall only accept bid(s) from those bidders in whose name the bid forms and or specifications were issued. Altered or incomplete bid forms, or use of substitute forms or documents, shall render the bid nonresponsive and subject to rejection. The entire Bid package, including the specifications and copies of any addenda issued shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department as THE BID. All bids must be typed or written in BLUE/BLACK INK. Any erasures, strikeover and/or changes to prices shall be initialed by the bidder. Failure to initial shall be cause for rejection of the bid as non-responsive.

5 5 All bids shall be signed. Failure to do so shall cause the bid to be rejected as nonresponsive. The City of Hammond reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids!
