The developer proposed the improvement of NW 78th Avenue for access to the Hawthorn Suites. In addition to these improvements, the developer is also working hard with neighboring properties in order to aesthetically improve NW 37th Street, also working hard with the city of Doral to coordinate the efforts to restore the pavement on NW 37th Street, up to the point where the developer is improving NW 37th street along the frontage of the Wingate property

Kendall Dr. Suite 200 Miami Fl With the anticipated arrival of the Doral branch of Jackson Memorial Hospital and the high volume of extended stay travelers in the city of Doral, along with the endorsement of the Whyndham group for this market, the developer is taking the opportunity to develop a campus like setting where two brands at different can be operated in close proximity filling the gap in both the markets they target. Wingate caters to a transient guest, expected to have a short stay. Hawthorn caters to a guest that needs to stay for a prolonged period of time, and guest will be able to use amenities from the neighboring Wingate. The Hawthorn Suites was designed with a higher number of larger rooms, as per the ability to do so due to FAR allowances of he land development code. 9 SITE PLAN Along the 35 access easement running north to south along the east side of the property, the developer proposed a street section that will accommodate a 3 lane street with a 6 sidewalk and 5 swale. The building will provide a portion of the parking outside and another portion covered by the building above. Site geometry of drives and access has been approved by Miami Dade County Fire Department. Hotel ground floor will consist of a lobby, breakfast area, back of house spaces, fitness room, and guest laundry, along with 4 guest rooms.
