When I was a child, like mst peple, I came acrss bks at my schl. But it was a make-shift bkshelf at my grandmther s huse that sparked my curisity. Discvering the bks n that shelf eventually led me t the encyclpaedias in my parents hme, and thse bks became an imprtant place fr me t d research, lng befre the days f Ggle! It is imprtant that as parents and caregivers we carry n the traditin f intrducing ur children t the wnder and amazement fund in the wrld f bks. It really desn t matter hw well yu read r which language/s yu like t use, ur hmes are ripe with ways t make stries cmes alive. Reverend Dumisani likes sugar biscuits, s I bught a biscuit mix fr thse. Unathi lked sad, I think yu shuld make pancakes, Mama. Everyne lves thse. And if yu make them, I can help yu.
