I ws elected t the AGM in Olcott, New York in September. I m retired Lieutennt for the Moore, Oklhom Fire Deprtment. My wife, Lind, is the Fr South Regionl Commssioner. We hve been involved in the Oklhom Scottish community for 2O yers nd members of the Henderson Cln for 16 yers. I m currently the bss drummer for the Highlnders Pipes nd Drums, lso the Drum Mjor for the Oklhom Fire Pipes nd Drums. But enough bout me. Let me shre my vision for the Henderson Cln. As we end our first 25 yers, everyone should remember our pst leders nd see how much we've grown. We hve current membership of over 4200 fellow Henderson kin. I would like to thnk the Henderson membership for entrusting me with the Presidency of Cln Henderson. I will continue on with the legcy given to me by our pst leders to further improve nd help the Cln Henderson show growth in yers to come. For Cln Henderson to prosper the membership must remin ctive. The fnst chnce to meet with members of the Executive Committee nd other cln members who cme on Fridy when we gthered for lunch t Gordie Hrper's Bzr. Sturdy morning set up ws helped by the mny Hendersons who cme erly to lend hnd which ws gretly pprecited! We occupied 4 tents nd, thnk goodness, Lrry brought some plstic sheeting to hng s the wind ws blowing hrd off of beutiful Lke Ontrio just behind us. We hd stedy strem of visitors nd numerous people signed the Visitors log s well s some becoming new members or renewing. At noon, the Cln mrched out on to the field during opening ceremonies.
