16 THE DETAILS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE Dark brickwork, hand picked and polished granite, glazed curtain walling, limestone, aluminium, hand-drawn glass and bronze perfectly combine to create an architectural delight.

17 THE SCULPTOR STEPHEN COX Acclaimed sculptor Stephen Cox has created exquisite hand-carved stonework for the fabric of 8 St. James s Square. Having worked in India for over a quarter of a century, he was the ideal artist to collaborate on a site so strongly connected to Sir Edwin Lutyens, who was himself known for his instrumental role in architectural design throughout New Delhi. THE ART GLASS THE ARCHITECT ERIC PARRY Eric Parry s concept for the distinctive projecting bay features ten patinated bronze framed windows to create a glazed elevation of subtle and flowing lines. The windows were detailed by John Crisfield of Sculpture Factory and incorporate around four hundred individually shaped pieces of glass. They were manufactured by his team of skilled craftsmen at the company s workshops in Somerset. Eric Parry Architects is an award-winning practice with a reputation for delivering diverse projects to the highest standards of design and detail. By gathering together talented individuals with a wide range of experience and cultural backgrounds, the team is able to operate successfully within any frame of reference. TELECOMMUNICATIONS Incoming BT service ducts are provided at basement level with shared cable routes to the north and south communication risers. Allocation of the cable route shall be agreed with the Landlord. All such additional incoming data services would be the responsibility of the tenant to secure and install and agree with the Landlord. RISERS Risers are provided within the north and south cores to accommodate tenants IT/data cables. A riser in the north core is allocated for tenants refrigeration pipework for tenants comms rooms. PLANT Space allocation is to be provided at roof level for the provision of future plant installation by office tenants which will be agreed with the Landlord.
