The justification for the rezomng request stems from the fact that the property no longer is used for a concrcte plant and there is a need for overnight accommodations for personnel visiting the BRAC facilities at Ft. Meade. Furthennore, there is a County plan for a right-in right-out entrance on Rte. 100, which will facilitate access to Ft. Meade, although the roads~are sufficient to allow the proposed development without the additional proposed Rte. 100 access. It is obvious that the downzoning is due to the cessation of W3 uses and the need for overnight accommodations per the enclosed list of hospitality hotel providers wishing to locate on the' property. The industrial classification is consistent with the General Development Plan. Please have the notification of public hearing sent to the imdersigned.
