Wilson advised of BIA activities including the annual downtown spring clean-up and various events, a donation to the Canada Day event and the part time BIA events coordinator position recruitment Muskoka Lifestyle Centre (Councillor, L. Giaschi-Pacini) 8.4. Local Northern Ontario School of Medicine Group (Councillor, L. Giaschi-Pacini) 8.5. Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce (Councillor, A. Buie) 8.6. Muskoka Heritage Trust Nature Reserves (Councillor, M. Quemby) 8.7. Bracebridge Arts Council Board () provided an update on Bracebridge Arts Council Board activities including a donation and upgrades to the Rene M. Caisse Theatre, update on the partnership agreement with Trillium Lakelands District School Board and new member recruitment Association of Municipalities of Ontario Board/Ontario Small Urban Municipalities (Mayor, G. Giaschi-Pacini) Corporate and Emergency Services (Mayor, G. Smith) 12. WARD INFORMATION ITEMS Bracebridge Ward (Councillor, C. Wilson) Councillor, C. Wilson provided an update on Woodchester Villa programing Monck/Muskoka Ward (Councillor, M. Quemby) Macaulay Ward (Councillor, R. Maloney) advised of his attendance at the Macaulay Public School Parent Council meeting providing an update on the active transportation trail Draper Ward (Councillor, A. Buie) Oakley Ward (Councillor, B. McMurray) Councillor, B. McMurray advised of concerns related to the condition of the boat launch at Pine Lake, provided an update on area road works and highlighted the upcoming Canada Day celebrations at the Village Square.
5 Page BY-LAWS Section A 18-TC ANNOUNCEMENTS That the following bill be read a first, second and third time and finally passed: Bill No. 41 (By-law No ) A By-Law of The Corporation of the Town of Bracebridge to Authorize Execution of a Municipal Funding Agreement for the Transfer of Main Streets Revitalization Initiatives Funds Between the Association of Municipalities of Ontario and The Corporation of the Town of Bracebridge (18-PD-045) (Ontario s Main Street Revitalization Initiative) Councillor, S. Clement shared positive feedback related to the Downtown area received from visitors to Bracebridge. advised of his attendance at the Muskoka Airport for the inaugural flight event for Fly GTA, open house event at Westlawn B&B and noted the ground breaking for Hospice Muskoka being held tomorrow night. Councillor, L. Giaschi-Pacini noted her attendance at various community events including the inaugural flight event at the Muskoka Airport, Father s Day car show, opening of Mama Bears and the opening of the Blitzen Balloon ride at Santa s Village. Mayor, G. Smith advised of community events including the opening of the Jar Bar Juice Bar, Alzheimer s Walk Muskoka, Westlawn B&B opening event, Tim Hortons Camp Day, Muskoka Pioneers Army Cadet Review, Big Brothers Big Sisters Barbecue, Blitzen Balloon Ride opening, Venture Fest, Father s Day Car Show, St. Johns Ambulance flag raising, and T s Hair Salon opening. He noted the change in Provincial Government highlighting the work done with the previous government and that the Town was looking forward to working with the new government. 15.
