The existing 70,000 square feet of office and retail space currently on-site could see a new tower with live-work units. The firm plans to demolish approximately 160,600 square feet of existing buildings at the 16-acre campus at 6050 W. The developer plans to offer two-story penthouse suites on the top floor, each equipped with a private sky deck overlooking Hollywood. Studios will command rents starting at $3,200 per month. One-bedroom units will start at $4,100, and the penthouse units will ask upwards of $6,700 a month. There will be no affordable housing component. 7 Amoeba Music site at 6400 Sunset Blvd Los Angeles, CA Plans to demolish the music store and build a contemporary-style, 28-story building in its place. The roughly 231,000-square-foot project would include 232 apartment units and 7,000 square feet of commercial space. Ten of the apartments would be set aside for low-income households. The Johnson Fain-designed project would include 372 parking spaces across two underground levels, more than the 291 spaces required by zoning laws. Amenities would include a fitness center, game room and swimming pool.
