This station was constructed in 2003, opening to passengers in The station has 400 car spaces and has regular trains running fro Geelong to Melbourne as well as regional Victoria. Apart fro the train station itself there are few other services or facilities in the area. Most housing around the station has been recently developed as part of new subdivisions.
