3 Circle f Excellence: Overview (updated fr 2018 qualifying year) Purpse: T recgnize members f the Glden Isles Assciatin f REALTORS wh have excelled in real estate sales and prperty management during the qualifying perid. Qualifying perid: Plaques given in beginning f the next year fr the qualifying perid f January 1 st - December 31 st f the current year. (This year s qualifying perid earns REALTORS the award fr 2019 Circle f Excellence). Categries: Circle f Excellence Member: REALTOR wh has nt made life membership yet. Must make $3,000,000 in sales and 6 transactins in qualifying year r Prperty Manager wh makes $70,000 in grss management fees and/r cmmissins t be cnsidered active. Circle f Excellence Life Member: REALTOR r Prperty Manager wh has qualified as an active member fr either 3 years in a rw r after any 5 active years. Once yu have reached Life Member, yu will be cnsidered a Life status member every year an applicatin is filed, until Oglethrpe status is reached. Please see maintaining membership fr mre details. Circle f Excellence Oglethrpe Member: REALTOR r Prperty Manager wh has had 10 active years in Circle f Excellence. These d nt need t be in successin. Once yu are an Oglethrpe member, yu will be cnsidered Oglethrpe fr all years in which an applicatin is filed. Maintaining Membership: After yu have reached Life status, yu may remain a Circle f Excellence member, withut an active qualifying year. An applicatin will still need t be turned in and the $35 applicatin fee paid fr yu t remain a member. Yu will be recgnized and still receive a plaque at the Circle f Excellence Lunchen. This will keep yu current with the Circle f Excellence Club. If yu d nt apply fr a year r mre, there will be a $35 reinstatement fee alng with the applicatin fee. Years in which yu were nt an active member, will nt be applied tward Oglethrpe. Please remember: fr REALTORS the wrksheet, adding machine tape and Brkers signature n applicatin are required fr the applicatin t be accepted. Prperty Managers must prvide a printut shwing the prperty address managed and grss rental incme cllected alng with an adding machine tape and applicatin signed by their Brkers. Remember, yu d nt need t prvide mre the minimum qualificatins n yur applicatin.
