SPMS Appraisal: Main Appraiser Appraisal Overview Appraisee Subrdinate/Individual Appraisal Initiatr Has the initial wnership f the appraisal Main Appraiser Immediate Supervisr f the Appraisee (Officials, Head f Units, and Supervisrs) SPMS Appraisal Flw Appraisee initiates the appraisal by entering their accmplish ments. Main Appraiser rates the Appraisee. Appraisee apprves the ratings frm the Main Appraiser. Main Appraiser gives Final Ratings. Appraisee prvides Feedback. Main Appraiser views Feedback.

2 I. SPMS Appraisal: Appraisee A. IPCR/OPCR with Set Targets 1. Appraisee initiates the appraisal by entering their accmplishments. a. (N): UP Emplyee Self Service > SPMS > Perfrmance Management > Manage appraisal: Individual Manage appraisal: Supervisr

3 b. Click Update. c. Appraisee will be directed t the Update Standard Appraisal: Overview page: [1] T view the Quality Efficiency Timeliness (QET) Guide, click View this link fr QET Guide. [2] T add bjectives r additinal bjectives, click Add Objective. [3] T duplicate the bjective, click the Duplicate buttn. [4] T edit the bjective details, click the Update Details buttn. [5] T delete the bjective, click the Delete buttn [6] Input Actual Accmplishment in the Actual Accmplishment field fr each bjective. [7] [8] [9] Input Quality, Efficiency, Timeliness value (whichever is applicable) fr each bjective. [10] If all necessary changes have been made, click Cntinue.

4 d. If all bjectives have been finalized, click Share with Main Appraiser. e. Appraisee may then input ptinal Ntificatin Message fr Main Appraiser befre clicking Submit.

5 f. Appraisee will receive the cnfirmatin message: Ownership f yur appraisal has transferred t yur main appraiser. Yu cannt update the appraisal again until the main appraiser returns wnership f the appraisal t yu and requests yur input. g. The appraisal is nw with the Main Appraiser. 2. Appraisee apprves the ratings frm the Main Appraiser. a. The Main Appraiser will receive the Wrklist Ntificatin: Appraisal fr <Appraisee Name> has been apprved and is pending appraise feedback. b. The Appraisee will receive the Wrklist Ntificatin: Appraisal fr <Appraisee> (prpsed by <Main Appraiser>). Click the ntificatin.

6 c. Appraisee will be directed t the page similar t the illustratin belw.

7 [1] T view the details f the targets/bjectives, click View Actin. [2] T return the appraisal t the Main Appraiser fr crrectins, click Return fr Crrectin. [3] T apprve the Final Ratings given by the Main Appraiser, click Apprve. [4] T reject the Final Ratings given by the Main Appraiser, click Reject. The appraisal prcess will g back t the beginning. [5] T reassign, click Reassign. [6] T request infrmatin, click Request Infrmatin. 3. Appraisee prvides Feedback. a. When the Appraisee chses Apprve, he/she will be directed t the Hme page. There will be a wrklist ntificatin: Yur appraisal has been cmpleted. Please review and prvide feedback. b. Click the wrklist ntificatin. c. Click Update Actin (lwer part f the page under Related Applicatins).

8 d. Click Prvide Overall Feedback. e. Prvide Feedback n Overall Rating and (ptinal) Ntificatin Message fr Main Appraiser. Click Submit. B. IPCR/OPCR withut Set Targets (Fr Thse Withut Appraisal Available)

9 Fr thse withut appraisal under Appraisals f <Appraisee Name>, an appraisal needs t be created. 1. (N): UP Emplyee Self Service > SPMS > Perfrmance Management > Create Standard Appraisal (under Quick Links) 2. Input the Perfrmance Management Plan Perid Start Date, Perid End Date, and Template (Individual r Supervisr), then click Next.

10 3. Click Add Objective t add targets/bjectives t be appraised, then click Next. 4. Click Share with Main Appraiser. 5. Click Submit. * Filling ut the Ntificatin Message fr Main Appraiser field is ptinal.

11 6. The Appraisee will receive the cnfirmatin message: Ownership f yur appraisal has transferred t yur main appraiser. Yu cannt update the appraisal again until the main appraiser returns wnership f the appraisal t yu and requests yur input. 7. The appraisal f the Appraisee can be fund n the Main Appraiser s accunt. (N): UP Supervisr Self Service > SPMS > Perfrmance Management > Appraisals > Main Appraiser. II. SPMS Appraisal: Main Appraiser

12 A. Main Appraiser rates the Appraisee. 1. The Main Appraiser will receive the Wrklist Ntificatin: The appraisal f <Appraisee Name> needs yur attentin as main appraiser. 2. Click the Wrklist Ntificatin as abve r (N): UP Supervisr Self Service > SPMS > Perfrmance Management > Manage appraisal: Individual Manage appraisal: Supervisr 3. Click the Appraise buttn.

13 4. Main Appraiser will be directed t the page illustrated belw: [2] T make changes in the appraisal, click Update Appraisal.

14 [1] T send back the appraisal t the Appraisee after making changes, click Send Back t Appraisee. Tick the necessary checkbxes. Default Ticked Checkbxes Details t be Shared with Appraisee Overall Rating Overall Cmments Objective Ratings and Cmments Appraisee Permissins Prvide Feedback n Overall Rating Nte: Tick Update Appraisal t enable the Appraisee t update his/her appraisal. The Main Appraiser may als send a Ntificatin Message t the Appraisee (ptinal). [3] If n mre changes will be made with the appraisal, rate each bjective/target f the Appraisee by clicking Give Final Ratings (Main Appraiser gives Final Ratings.)

15 The Main Appraiser may enter Overall Cmments abut the Appraisee s Objective Ratings. (ptinal). The Overall Rating shuld be entered. Suggested Overall Rating is cmputed thrugh the ratings given fr each target/bjective. Filling ut the Overall Cmments n the Overall Rating is ptinal. Click Cntinue. The Main Appraiser will be directed t the page illustrated belw:

17 The Main Appraiser may enter Cmments t Apprver (Appraisee) (ptinal) prir t clicking the Submit buttn. Click Yes. The Main Appraiser will receive the cnfirmatin message: Yu have submitted the appraisal fr apprval. B. Main Appraiser views Feedback.

18 1. The Main Appraiser receives the Wrklist Ntificatin: Appraisee <Appraisee Name> has prvided feedback n Appraisal. 2. Click the Wrklist Ntificatin. 3. Details f the Appraisee Feedback may be viewed.
