We, Juan Rico and Agustin Rico, brothers and partners, founded Methanoia Studio in 2001 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We are a multidisciplinary studio that offers an integrated service of architecture & design, photo-realistic 3D renderings and artist impressions, corporate branding, animated video commercials, and other Real Estate solutions. Methanoia takes great pride in its passionate and dynamic team composed by 50 professionals, including architects, art directors, 3-D specialists, photographers, filmmakers, and interactive designers, that are enthusiastic about an opportunity to collaborate in your project development together with your team. Methanoia has been building a reputation in both architecture & design and in high-quality computer-generated solutions. In regards to the architecture & design projects, this year we are finalists in a national competition for TGLT in Tigre, Buenos Aires, in a large scale project of square meters. On the other hand, for the past 10 years we have been working with world renowned architectural companies such as Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid, UN Studio & SOM, among others. To this day, Methanoia has developed over 1000 images for Foster + Partners, and 200 images + 10 animations for Zaha Hadid. Our collaborative efforts have assisted our clients participate in and win international awards for their projects, among them being the Rabat Grande Theatre won by Zaha Hadid, the Singapore University of Technology and Design won by UN Studio and Banco Ciudad & West Kowloon Cultural District won by Foster + Partners. Methanoia provides our clients with the professional expertise working collaboratively to ensure a successful project. Upon signing a contract with Methanoia, our clients are introduced to a production team that accompanies them throughout the development process. By developing a complimentary range of products and services within a dedicated division, the dynamic team of Methanoia Studio seeks to ensure excellence in its work. VISION The meaning of Methanoia results from a disturbance-free spell of the word metanoia. This term has a Greek origin and has several meanings rich in nuances, depending on their use in different disciplines and contexts (religion, philosophical foresight, systemic thinking and organizational strategy, among others). But it always applies to something or someone (person or organization), in which there is a deep change or transformation. Methanoia is integrated by professionals such as architects, designers and artists related to digital image production. Our focus is set on the production display through the exploration and development of multidisciplinary and collaborative work, with a unique and specific goal.
