Perched high in the Umbrian hills, in the centre of a superb estate & natural reserve, not far from Assisi and many of the area's historic gems, a stylish 11th century historic Abbey, former Castle, encircling a private courtyard, beautifully renovated to satisfy the most demanding guests. Possibility of rental of extra bedrooms for bigger groups You will make the most of this 1500 acres of private land, that still belongs to the descendant of Napoleon, enjoying its walking and biking trails, going berry and mushroom-picking, bird and animal watching ; the natural reserve is rich of many wild animals, such as: foxes, pheasants, porcupines, partridges, squirrels, wild boars, stannels, hares and grey harons. The surroundings are completely rural and tranquil but Guests have the convenience of the village, bar, shops, restaurants and sport centre being only five minutes drive away.
