1 CHÂTEAU LES TOURS DE LENVEGE Saussignac, 5 bedrooms, sleeps 10 Built in the 13 th Century as a fortification, this magnificent château set in 30 acres of landscaped parkland and woods has been thoughtfully furnished to make an elegant and child-friendly home with space to land a helicopter if desired. A fabulous floodlit 15m x 6m swimming pool with pool house, full size boules pitch, outdoor dining facilities and plenty of teak furniture are housed in the large gardens. This interior of the château retains much of its period features, with impressive stonework, exposed beams and foot ceilings. This region is known locally as Gateway to the Perigord as many visitors use it as a base from which to plan their stay in Dordogne. There are a superb range of attractions many of which are distinctive to this corner of South West France. Bergerac was once a beautiful medieval city, definitely worth a visit to see its old river port where you can take boat trips along the river, or visit the organic market where, in season, you can purchase truffles. We ensure these properties are safe, by conducting an annual health and safety audit of each property to check fire, gas, pool and general safety Our A&K Villa Rental includes: Villa rental on an exclusive basis Utilities (gas, water, electricity), unless otherwise stated Towels, pool towels and bed linen as standard 1 cot & highchair (cot linen not provided) An A&K Local Representative will arrange to meet you on your arrival weekend and is then on call 24/7 in case of emergency. In some cases an A&K Representative is not required as the villa will have its own competent, local manager. All A&K clients are able to call an A&K emergency Duty Manager. An A&K Representative will be able to assist with collecting your car rental and assist in arranging onward transportation. Your bi-lingual Host can be called upon at any time to assist you in any way throughout your stay: Re-confirming pre-booked services and confirming itinerary arrangements Making additional arrangements as required Suggesting and booking restaurants, visits, guided tours, Trouble shooting, language assistance Provide a check-out service A light, pre-prepared supper on your arrival evening prepared by your Host Drinks fridge stocked on arrival.
