A sympathetic restoration, carried out with utmost respect of the original structure, has brought to light some precious frescoes, wooden beams, vaulted ceilings and carved stone blocks, all tastefully complemented by fine antique furniture, statues, tapestries and embroidered curtains to recall the splendours of times gone by. The result is a unique accommodation equipped with all modern comforts such as ensuite shower rooms, air conditioning, plasma screen televisions and WiFi internet. Four of the five bedrooms are arranged in the tower with stunning views over rolling hills and verdant fields, with the top-floor bedroom accessing a private terrace and the castle battlements. In one of the courtyards, surrounded by the original castle walls is a lovely pool, a chapel and a large covered terrace offers one of the most stunning panoramic views of the whole estate and its winding pathways through the garden. A short stroll will take you to the charming village of Capodacqua di Foligno for your essential shopping whereas the larger town of Foligno is at a short drive from your villa.
