The area is rich in Italian history and culture and is known for its cuisine, untouched nature and beauty. This impressive rental villa will delight you with its unequalled views, romantic atmosphere and unmatched relaxation opportunities. The capital city of the region, Perugia, is 20 minutes away and offers a wealth of activities which include opera and the famous Umbria Jazz and Eurochocolate festivals. Other towns in the area, such as Cortona and Preggio have annual classic music festivals as well as the annual Montone Film festival. Rome is a 2 hour drive away. The bold and dramatic luxury villa was rebuilt on the ruins of a medieval defensive tower. From the tower, the view of the wooded valley below is enchanting. The spacious ground floor living room has stone floors, a wooden beam ceiling, a large fireplace and the décor is warm and vibrant and very comfortable. Access to the patio is provided where a sofa, chairs and table await. The dining room is adjacent to the living room and also provides the option of outdoor dining under a parasol. The wellappointed kitchen is also on the ground floor. Satellite TV, DVD player and an ipod docking station are provided together with high-speed Wi-Fi internet access throughout. The king-size master bedroom with en suite bathroom is situated in the main house with serene views through the two windows of the rolling green hills while the warm sunlight streams in. The second main room, also a king-size en suite, is situated on the top floor of the tower with accompanying breath taking views. From there it is a short climb up onto the roof terrace for the ultimate view of the valley. This terrace, with its sunbeds and chairs, is ideal for sunbathing in total privacy. The third bedroom, also in the tower, has two comfortable bunk beds with an en suite bathroom. All the rooms have air-conditioning and each bathrooms has a hairdryer. Children of all ages are welcome with cots, high chairs and baby bathtubs available on request. The crystal clear infinity pool is heated and has a Jacuzzi to relax those sore muscles after a long day of activity. It is surrounded by the manicured lawn and spectacular roof terrace, offering stunning panoramic views that will remain carved into your memory.
