5 Bansko Bulgaria s Number One Ski Resort The skiing conditions in Bansko, Bulgaria are excellent! The beautiful slopes of the Pirin Mountains have a predominantly Alpine character, offering all levels of slopes from novice (blue) to expert (black). There are 3 peaks above 2900m with a total of 65km of runs, all maintained to an incredibly high standard.
