EXECUTIVE BRIEF Moton and Ttle: Staff recommends moton to approve: A Partal Release of a Removal Agreement on the southwest corner of Lake Worth Road and Jog Road. SUMMARY: Approval of ths acton wll allow a Partal Release ofa Removal Agreement granted n 1982 for the placement of pole sgnage on the southwest comer of Lake Worth Road and Jog Road. Dstrct 2 (PK) Background and Justfcaton: In 1982 the owner of the property located on the southwest comer of Lake Worth Road and Jog Road entered nto a Removal Agreement wth Palm Beach County (County) n order to obtan a buldng permt. Ths Agreement oblgated the property owner to remove, at no expense to the County, certan pole sgnage from the proposed rght-of-way of Lake Worth Road and Jog Road, f and when requested by the County. Ths sgnage was relocated when the County coordnated the ntersecton mprovement of the subject area. The current owner was n the process of sellng the property, but the recorded Removal Agreement has created a cloud on the ttle of the subject property. The orgnal Removal Agreement encompassed a much larger area than the subject property, therefore only a partal release s beng consdered. The Florda Department of Transportaton has revewed the request and stated they have no objecton to the property owner's request to a partal release of the Removal Agreement.
