Your offer in a sealed envelop, containing two separate envelopes one for Technical bid & other for Price bid, super scribing on the top Quotation for High Resolution A3 Duplex Color Document Scanner (Priced/Unpriced) should reach this office latest by 25 th Aug 2011 before Hrs. Bids are to be addressed to The Director General, Consultancy Development Centre, 2 nd Floor, Core IV B, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi Two parts of the bids are as under:- Part I Technical Bid (Un-priced): Include the following: An earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs. 5000/- by demand draft in favour of Consultancy Development Centre payable at New Delhi is required to be furnished (in technical bid) with the tender. Copy of purchase order any three(preferably Govt clients/departments) Terms & Condition (Annexure- II) Check List (Annexure - III) Compliance Certificate (Annexure -IV) Technical Brochure Part II (Priced) : Price Bid (Annexure- V) Please note that your offer should be only in the enclosed format duly signed by the authorised signatory on each page along with seal of your firm. No correspondence will be entertained regarding extension of bid, closing date or delay in receipt of offer. Bids not received in two parts or received after schedule date of submission would be rejected straightway. 3 Terms & Conditions Annexure -II General Essential Terms 1. Prices Prices stated shall include Freight Transit, insurance, standard packing charges and octroi and excise duty, wherever applicable. Prices are exclusive of sales tax, which should be indicated separately. If tax not specified, the amount applicable shall be treated as NIL. Also, sales tax number along with copy of Registration Certificate to be provided wherever applicable. Prices are inclusive of Three-year on-site comprehensive warranty from the date of installation and acceptance whichever is later. 2. Schedule of Payments 3. Warranty 90% on delivery, installation and acceptance by the Centre. 10% on furnishing the performance bank guarantee mentioned under Performance guarantee and after submission of documentary evidence of 3 year on-site comprehensive warranty. 1. Vendor shall provide on-site comprehensive warranty for a period of 36 months after its installation and acceptance by Consultancy Development Centre. 2. Complaints, if any, are to be attended the same day if call is in the morning and if in the afternoon, the next working day. 4. Liquidated Damages In case the Vendor fails to complete the work as per the schedule and agreement thereof, or repudiates the contract at any time, Consultancy Development Centre without prejudice to any other right or remedy available may recover from the Vendor a sum, as ascertained and agreed liquidated damages and not by way of penalty to be calculated at the rate of 0.5% per week of delay on the total values of work subject to a maximum of 10% of the contract value. As the cost of the work or part thereof (in default) by Bidder to be carried out by any other without notice to Vendors thus making the carrying out of such work on the account and at the risk of Vendor. A decision of Consultancy Development Centre to get the work or part thereof (in default) done by some other party shall be final and binding on the Vendor. In case Consultancy Development Centre, due to circumstances, beyond control fails to make available material/facilities to Vendors as per the agreement Vendor shall only be entitled extension in time limit. Such extension shall not count for the purpose of payment to vendors under any clause. 5. Performance Guarantee Vendor shall furnish to Consultancy Development Centre an irrevocable letter of guarantee from their bankers for a sum equivalent to 10% of total hardware value of this contract. This irrevocable letter of guarantee shall be drawn in favour of Consultancy Development Centre and shall be valid for 36 months after its installation and acceptance by Consultancy Development Centre. 6. Validity of the Offer 7. Delivery The validity of the offer submitted shall be upto 90 days from due date. Within ten days from date of purchase order 8.
