2 PAGE 2 NEWS BRIEFS Clancy Rogers Museum Manager Well, it s time to say goodbye to another year and to look forward to a new year. We want to take this time to remember all our friends and members who we lost this past year, they will not be forgotten. I want to take this time to thank all our members for their support and donations of time and money to the Museum. Thousands of hours of volunteer time were donated by members during the last year. Happy New Year PAGE 3 Moving into the new year, we will continue to feature exhibits and photos from our history. We will also add new items, as room permits. We thank those of you who have renewed memberships or are new members, and hope you will consider joining us still, if you haven t yet. Why not bring in someone new to take a look, and even join our historical society and museum. Our current hours are Tuesday and Wednesdays 1-3pm, and Thursday and Sundays 1-4pm. Many thanks to our docents for your service! Hailing from Texas, she has been in our area for a few years, and enjoys volunteering her time for the good of our cause. We appreciate her enthusiasm and ideas. So-long to a friend of the museum As many of you may know, In early December, we lost Warren White a longtime volunteer and supporter of the Manteca Museum. His wife Shirley, is also a long-time member and former secretary of the board of directors. We wish Shirley and family well and will forever be thankful for Warren and Shirley s contributions to the Manteca Historical Society & Museum. Warren White 1/7/33 12/7/15
