AMAZING TRANSFORMATIONS Peter Cadoux Architects Constructed in the early 1960 s era, and with the infrastructure well intact, this existing residence was worthy of a significant renovation.

Beyond the interior and exterior updates, and complying with an ever increasing desire to minimize future home maintenance, several unique building materials were employed.

6 AMAZING TRANSFORMATIONS Peter Cadoux Architects Constructed in the early 1960 s era, and with the infrastructure well intact, this existing residence was worthy of a significant renovation. Additions, such as an octagonal shaped breakfast room and a third floor observation/meditation room were added for light, increased views of the ocean and a more inspiring appearance. Beyond the interior and exterior updates, and complying with an ever increasing desire to minimize future home maintenance, several unique building materials were employed. The windows are wood but with convincing clad exterior coatings, eliminating the need to paint. The exterior trim is primarily comprised of composite polymers that may be painted but will never decay. The wood roof is not made of cedar, but of cypress. A much more resilient wood species.
