An automotive and truck repair facility will also be included within the $20,000,000 development. A Walmart Neighborhood Market and WAWA opened in the Broad Creek community WARDS CORNER NORTH COLLEY Several new restaurants, including Eva s French Restaurant, Cogan s Pizza, and LeGrand Kitchen are locating in the North Colley Avenue area. RIVERVIEW s K&K Square at Wards Corner: $18 million shopping center anchored by Harris Teeter. Completion February Also includes Starbucks, Subway, Great Clips, Moe s, Sleepy s, Albano s Cleaners, GNC, and NTelos. PARK PLACE/35TH STREET Now open in the Riverview area. Newport Plaza, a $6 million mixed-use project by The Hanson Company, is under construction at the southwest corner of West 35th Street and Newport Avenue. It will include a Croaker s Spot restaurant and six apartments. Also coming soon is Newport Manor, at Newport Avenue and 36th Street, with 50 apartments.
