5 Arts District - Key Developments Within steps from AMP Lofts Engine Company No S. Santa Fe Avenue Ford Factory S. Santa Fe Avenue Engine Co. No. 17, a historic fire station in the Arts District, is well into its transformation into a boutique hotel. Soon to become the new West Coast headquarters of Warner Music Group, the historic Ford Factory will be made up of approximately 254,000 square feet of office space and 60,000 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space. The Project will transform the upper floor of the two-story brick structure into 10 guest rooms. Plans also call for 2,200 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space, as well as patio seating that will be built into existing exterior space wrapping the building. The Project also will include a 600-car parking structure and a 15,000 SF paseo that will provide outdoor seating for commercial tenants and greenery between the new garage and the existing factory buildings.
